At Love World Missions International, we are deeply committed to ensuring that funds from our generous donors and sponsors reach us securely and efficiently to support our vital child sponsorship programs. Due to limitations in the financial infrastructure of Liberia, our banking system does not currently support modern digital payment platforms like PayPal, credit or debit card processing, and other commonly used electronic transfer systems. These challenges make it difficult to utilize global payment systems that donors might typically prefer.

To address this, we have established reliable and accessible methods for receiving funds:

1. Wire Transfers:

   • Traditional wire transfers remain one of the most secure and dependable ways to receive donations from around the world. Donors can use this method to transfer funds directly from their bank accounts to our designated account in Liberia. While slightly slower compared to digital transfers, wire transfers ensure the funds are safely deposited into our organization’s account for immediate use in our programs.

2. Sendwave:

   • We also accept donations via Sendwave, a user-friendly mobile app designed for quick, low-cost international money transfers. Sendwave allows donors to send funds instantly to us in Liberia without the need for complex intermediary banks. This platform has proven to be a convenient and efficient alternative for our supporters.

By leveraging these methods, we continue to bridge the gap created by technological limitations in Liberia’s banking system. Every donation, no matter the size, plays a crucial role in advancing our mission to provide essential services like education, healthcare, and nourishment to the children we serve.

We are actively exploring additional secure and cost-effective ways to expand our payment options in the future as Liberia’s financial infrastructure evolves.
